NBC has cast Dermot Mulroney for the lead of the new series Rockford Files, Michael Aussiello confirmed today.Mulroney will play the detective Jim Rockford in the reboot of the '74 crime drama. David Shore will produce the new show that will air in the fall as a part of the new NBC season.
This is the first lead role for Mulroney who previously voiced the Green Lantern for The Batman animation series and guest starred on Friends.
