Janeane Garofalo joins the new UMD

Janeane Garofalo has been cast as the chief nurse of CBS' Untitled Medical Drama, Michael Ausiello reports today.

The new fall show from producer John Wells revolves around a team of medical professionals who travel across the U.S. helping those in need.

Garofalo plays Angel, the chief nurse and operations manager of the team. Angel is always in control and very compassionate toward those who need help.

The show that has already been picked up for the fall season is still without a name, but already stars Amy Smart and Rachelle Lefevre.
