Slowly but surely, Cougar Town is becoming an ensemble comedy where you just can't get enough of. The cast has amazing chemistry and as the characters start becoming closer and more comfortable with each other (though one of the show's perks is the awkward humor between friends), the show becomes the kind of comedy that could run for a long time. Whichever way you see it, you can be happy to have Cougar Town in your life.In 'What Are You Doin' In My Life', Laurie is ready to grow up. But such an event doesn't go over smoothly, especially since her mother (guest star Beverly D'Angelo) comes by to pay her a visit. Meanwhile Grayson has had enough of Bobby not paying his tab, and joins forces with Ellie to teach him a lesson.
The episode features great scenes between Ellie and Bobby, and super side-kick Barb (Carolyn Hennesy) actually gets a few scenes of her own.
If Cougar Town can keep this trend up, it might become one of the best comedies on air.
