Review: 90210 S02E14 - Girl Fight

In case you escaped the many promo's of The CW showing you much of the episode titular scene, it might come as a happy surprise to see a classic girl fight. It's Naomi and Ivy hitting the sand to settle once and for all who gets Liam. And as much as I love girl fights, it wasn't even all the good stuff. Because Dixon gets what he deserves and Jasper is getting creepier by the second.

But first; Silver and Teddy. These two don't pass for teenagers at all, even in the way they get together. Not that anybody cares, because the two still share some chemistry. Unfortunately, Dixon isn't ready to let go just yet, but his boyish schemes will surface pretty fast.
Meanwhile Annie has reached a tipping point of Jasper's threats and decides to try another method. It's great seeing Annie become someone we can actually feel something for. The first half of the season really made her a character, the way we want to see them, now she's finally making her way back to society, with only one very, very big obstacle left to tackle.
Back to Ivy, Naomi and Liam. I could watch those awkward scenes between Naomi and Liam forever, but Ivy makes both of them face what's really going on. It might just be the end for their long-awaited get together.

The episode was fairly entertaining, nothing spectacle and the girl fight wasn't anything for the books. It could've gone way more out of hand, but the show decided to stay safe. It was a little disappointing, but I'll take any sort of girl fight over none any day.
