In yet another vital episode of Chuck progression is made in every form. Character, romance and work all find their place in an episode that mixes comedy, love and action only the way Chuck can. But the biggest shocker of the night belongs to Sarah, who's real name is finally revealed...
It's not completely new to television land. Shows go seasons, years or even their entire run without revealing a character's name, but mostly that's because it was never their intention to do it to begin with. With Sarah it was quit different. Ever since it was revealed that Sarah wasn't actually Sarah's real name, it has been hinted at, leaving fans anxious to find out what and who it actually is. 'Chuck Versus The Fake Name' does exactly that. It reveals Sarah's real name, but fails to delve any deeper than that. Not that it's necessary, just finding this out from a character you always saw as a Sarah, fans will be rocked.
But some name-changing is not the only thing that goes down. Chuck himself has to go undercover and be an assassin. It takes his career as a spy into a new direction since he's actually able to pull it off. But what will this do to his relationship with Ellie, who feels left behind since Chuck didn't tell her about Hannah. Speaking of which, Chuck has to go to great lengths to make it work with her and that can't last forever...certainly not after all the fans complaints.
And for those who are fiercly against Hannah and Sarah's new love-interest Shaw, the episode leaves you with mixed feelings. One of them is going out, while the other one is getting close.
Chuck continues it's reign as a delightful action-comedy with a diverse cast and great storytelling. The only real complaint is to main character Chuck. If you want viewers to believe he's changing, show it, instead of having Sarah wine about it all episode long...
