When Nate and Sammy go on a stake-out, Nate gets confronted with his daughter. Something he doesn't take lightly. Meanwhile, Lydia still has problems adjusting to her new partner, but has to reach for a bigger goal; solving the murder of an entire family. Ben and John continu to bud heads, as they both deal with problems of their own.
The episode kicks off with a car crash, considering I love car crashes (scripted ones, that is), the episode got off on a good start. Shortly after, it focuses on more subtle matter such as getting groceries and having arguements at the office. It's the power of the show to keep everything as normal as possible, showing the daily events, life of cops without ever feeling to dramatized or excelled, even if it is. Chasing bad guys, dealing drugs, it's just another day in the life, but it's interesting nonetheless. Only the camera-vision can be tiring at times, but that too, is part of the show's exceptional charm.
One of the greater cop shows, one that's worth checking out, fast, before it's too late.
