On this otherwise quit TV news day (could Hollywood be preparing for something?), Aussiello reported some nice clues on to what's going to happen on The CW's new, little addicting drama called The Vampire Diaries. Read on, fangbangers...- Melinda Clarke (portrayer of television's überb*atch Julie Cooper on The O.C.) makes her debut on the March 25th episode 'A Few Good Men'. She will play Matt's mother who doesn't really aprove of Caroline. Piece of cake for Clarke.
- Paul Wesley agrees with Angrod TV that Stefan needs to "stop analyzing". Luckily, "the layers become complex, he's hiding something." Could Stefan become interesting?
- Another flashback episode is in the works. Though there's nothing special about them now, they still offer up Mystic Falls best mythology.
- People will hang on cliffs; as creator Kevin Williamson promises "seven to nine "teases". We really want to go out with a bang." But what can you expect from a show that features teasing endings on a weekly base?
- The second half of the season will feature a new device that "is going to top the vampire compass" according to executive producer Julie Plec.
- Elena won't fall for Damon any time soon as Plec says "this is the question of the entire series. He will realize his crush on Elena before she'll realize her crush on him."
