Super second season of Glee

The fourteenth episode of season one has yet to air, but sometimes, a show is just too big of a hit to stay in the present. Besides being the earliest full-season pick-up, Glee also got renewed months before most other shows do. Now FOX is looking at going one step further and expanding the show's second season.

It's good to be a gleek these days. Where most fans are still going crazy whether their show is being renewed for the 2010/2011 season, Glee is pretty sure of it's future. And at the PaleyFest this weekend, creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that the future is indeed bright.
"We are talking about doing 25 episodes as opposed 22." Why stay at the same episode-order rate as normal shows when you're an international hit show? Exactly. Though, in my humble opinion, three episodes extra isn't exactly extraordinary (last season low-rated shows such as Heroes and Gossip Girl hit 25 too), or as drastic as the 27 FOX rewarded to Family Guy or The O.C., but still. Glee is ruling, and you gotta love it.

Also, Murphy hopes to get out of McKinley for at least one episode. "I loved it when The Brady Bunch went to Hawaii. I want New Directions to go to some competition in New York."

Like the idea? Perhaps they could have a sing/dance-off with the kids from 'Fame', I wonder who'd win... Are you happy with 25 episodes? Worried that this might affect the quality of the show?
