Review: Family Guy S08E13 - Go, Stewie, Go!

In one of the most hilarious Family Guy episodes of the season, Stewie auditions for the American version of Jollyfarm. Unfortunately, they only have an open spot for a girl. Obvious turn of events don't matter when the episode offers up scenes of Stewie fighting with his sister, and Meg finally getting a boyfriend. Apparently, FG hasn't lost it yet.

Whether it's the problem that every week is a surprise if a new episode of Family Guy is broad casted or just because eight seasons in, few shows still know how to entertain, but to me the show lost it opposed to the exception-of-the-rule The Simpsons and FG's younger sibling American Dad! both of which feature more honest family stories than the first child of Seth McFarlane, who seemingly just wants to offend.
This episode, however, we get a slightly messed up (but isn't that the way we want it?) version of relationship values from Peter and Lois, when the latter is intrigued with Meg's new boyfriend. Meanwhile, Stewie dresses up as a girl in order to appear on the American version of his favorite show. But things are getting complicated when he falls for his female co-star.
Not that that really matters, because Family Guy hits a classic episode that makes fun of itself, while showing a bickering Stewie doing a fictional fight between him and his alter-ego. Seriously, too funny.

It's the way I like this show and I hope it could be like this every week. Laugh. Out. Loud.
